B&B has, for 23 years, provided quality service and performance in Electrical Construction and design-build services. The firm was founded in April 1981 as T.E. Blackstone Co. We changed our name in 1996 to B&B Building Systems inc. T/A B&B Electric. As an Electrical Contracting firm specializing in a myriad of projects ranging from tenant up fits to large design build projects including energy management and fiber optic cabling for computer systems and communications, with emphasis on quality control. A continuous succession of larger and technically more demanding building projects has required a parallel strengthening of our professional staff, construction technologies, and computer-based project management control systems. As a means of strengthening our professional services, we have made major investments in personnel training and education to enhance our approach to project scheduling and system analysis.

B&B maintains the capacity to provide hands-on construction services in order to control critical elements of the construction process. We utilize a variety of project delivery systems including competitive bidding, design-build methodology, cost plus fee, or traditional lump sum contracting.

B&B's management structure allows greater access by our clients to upper management staff within our company and in turn, expedites issues of various complexities in a timely fashion. On all our projects, we endeavor to create a feeling of trust and enthusiasm utilizing a partnering concept with the General Contractor, or Owner so as to complete a project on time and within budget.

We at B&B Electric know the experience of our personnel is our greatest asset. The accumulated knowledge, gathered with each new construction endeavor, is passed along to our client base as savings through on time, within budget project construction.

We at B&B believe the key to the successful completion of our projects is the regular presence of key personnel on each jobsite. Even as we grow, our Vice Presidents, and senior level management personnel monitor each job, lending their guidance and experience to the on-site management team. This supervision keeps upper management constantly aware of costs and job progress, and lets our clients know that everyone they are in contact with is an integral part of the planning, scheduling, and progress of their job.

B&B's current staff includes professional and support personnel offering expertise in Electrical Construction. Our firm policy actively encourages all staff members to increase their professional qualifications through continued education, participation in in-house tutoring programs, and participation in technical societies. Field personnel at B&B obtain detailed training prior to being assigned responsibility for a project. Instruction includes adjacent project participation with senior staff and thorough familiarization with regulatory codes.
